Statistics

<  Since 1973 there has been over 47 MILLION abortions in the United States, approximately:

  • 1.3 Million Every Year
  • 108,333 Every Month
  • 27,083 Every Week
  • 3,735 Every Day
  • 155 Every Hour
  • 1 Every 25 Seconds
Every day, 365 days a year, 7 days a week for the last 33 years innocent children die from abortion. One Third of OUR generation has been wiped out by abortion, ONE THIRD...why?
  • 1% say because of rape or incest
  • 6% say because of potential health problems
  • 93% say because of social reasons
Nearly all of abortions are obtained for social reason. 47 million innocent babies' lives have been torn from then in the cruelest way possible, and why...to fulfill someone selfish desire, so who is having these abortions?
  • Over half of all abortion are obtained by women under 25 with teens obtaining one-fifth
  • 75% profess some sect of christianity (whether Catholic, Protestant, etc)
  • 73.8% are unmarried
The majority of people obtaining abortion are unmarried "Christians" under 25 years of age. These are the people we see everyday, in church, at ball games, in the classrooms. What are we going to do to stop them? We are the people they are going to listen to; we are their peers. Just as the apostle Paul said to Timothy, we should be an example to the culture of death by our words and by our actions regardless of our age. (1 Timothy 4:12)
